Bid and Content Manager

Location: United Kingdom (Home-Based)
Hybrid Working: Occasional travel to our Aylesbury, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Belfast offices, as well as occasional customer visits
Salary: Circa £60,000 (dependent on experience) + generous bonus (circa 20%)
Contract: Permanent

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join Esri UK as a Bid and Content Manager.

This is a pivotal role responsible for leading the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality bids that support business growth. Working across Sales, Services and Legal teams, you will manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring submissions are compelling, compliant and delivered on time.

You will also develop and maintain our proposal content library, improve proposal processes and support the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance the development of proactive proposals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bid professional who enjoys combining hands-on proposal management with longer-term capability development.

As our Bid and Content Manager, you will:

• Lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant bid and proposal responses including RFIs, PPQs, ITTs and RFPs.
• Plan and facilitate proposal kick-off meetings, storyboarding sessions and review cycles.
• Coordinate contributions from subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business.
• Manage proposal governance, approvals and submission processes.
• Review, edit and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency and customer focus.
• Ensure all submissions align with Esri UK's brand, messaging and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain content libraries, templates and proposal management resources.
• Support the adoption of proposal automation tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Provide guidance and coaching on proposal best practice and persuasive writing techniques.
• Monitor proposal performance and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships across the business to ensure effective collaboration throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Help drive improvements in proposal processes that support increased win rates and business growth.

• Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Hold APMP accreditation or a similar proposal management qualification (desirable).
• Have experience within a technology or technology services environment (desirable).
