Bid Manager – Built Environment (Sport & Stadia Focus)

London (Hybrid)

Competitive salary + excellent benefits

Are you a hands-on Bid Manager with a passion for sport and the ambition to help win projects that shape the future of stadiums and sporting venues?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing, collaborative work winning team within a leading multidisciplinary design practice, supporting its growing international portfolio and working on exceptional projects across the built environment, with a particular focus on sport, stadia and major sporting developments. You'll play a key role in shaping winning proposals for a diverse range of local, national and international opportunities, working alongside talented architects, engineers, designers and technical specialists to showcase the team's expertise and bring ambitious projects to life.

What are we looking for?

  • At least five years' relevant experience in bid management, bid writing, technical or creative writing, or business development.
  • Strong experience managing complex, end-to-end bids involving multiple stakeholders and technical disciplines.
  • Excellent writing, copy editing and proofreading skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and quality.
  • A solid understanding of SQ forms, pre-qualification processes and formal tender submissions.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to collaborate with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience within architecture, engineering, construction or a related creative or technical environment would be highly advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for sport, stadia and the built environment, with an interest in the design and delivery of world class sporting venues and the experiences they create for fans, athletes and communities.

Experience working on bids for stadiums, sports facilities or major sporting developments would be particularly valuable, although a strong generalist Bid Manager with a genuine enthusiasm for the sector will also be of interest. Experience with bid management systems, CRM platforms and asset management tools would also be beneficial.

Why consider this opportunity?

You'll be joining a genuinely lovely, supportive and collaborative team within an established international design business, with the opportunity to contribute to some outstanding projects and work alongside talented professionals across multiple disciplines.

For someone passionate about sport and the built environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a part in winning projects that go beyond buildings, creating places where people come together, communities connect and unforgettable sporting moments happen.

📍 Hybrid working: 3–4 days per week in the office.
