Schedule: Hybrid (After Training)

Training: 100% On-Site for 7-8 Weeks

Hours: 40 Hours per Week | Operating Hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM CT

Job Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (English/Spanish) to join a fast-paced insurance services team. This role serves as one of the first points of contact for policyholders, providing support related to insurance products, policy information, claims intake, and general customer service inquiries.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and thrives in a call center environment. This individual will create positive customer experiences through professionalism, empathy, problem-solving, and ownership while delivering exceptional service to policyholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls regarding insurance products, policies, and account inquiries.
  • Assist policyholders with claims-related questions and complete claim intake requests.
  • Provide detailed information regarding policy status and coverage information.
  • Respond to customer questions with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to customer self-service tools and online access.
  • Identify opportunities to transfer qualified customers to the appropriate sales team when applicable.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records.
  • Meet or exceed departmental performance metrics, including quality, handle time, after-call work, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Utilize multiple systems and applications to research and resolve customer concerns.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and provide feedback that enhances the customer experience.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 3+ years of recent call center/customer service experience in a high-volume call center environment.
  • Recent call center experience within the last 2 years.
  • Strong tenure and demonstrated reliability in previous positions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Proven problem-solving and customer service abilities.
  • Strong attendance record and professionalism.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services experience.
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Previous experience handling policyholder, claims, or benefits-related inquiries.
  • Experience meeting call center performance metrics and service-level goals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
