2. About the Opportunity:

The Bilingual Dental or Orthodontic Contact Center Representative plays a crucial role in the Patient Advocate team by delivering expert support to patients and families. This position ensures effective handling of complex inquiries related to billing, insurance, and technical issues while maintaining service quality and volume targets. It contributes directly to the organization''s revenue cycle management and customer service excellence, with opportunities for career growth in these areas.


3. Responsibilities:

  • Support patients and families via phone and email with billing, insurance, technical, and collections inquiries
  • Handle escalated calls and serve as a secondary contact to the Floor Captain
  • Manage Salesforce and message center tasks related to insurance and follow-ups
  • Meet service level agreements consistently
  • Occasionally lead team huddles and meetings
  • Work scheduled shifts Monday-Thursday 10:00-6:30 MT and Friday 8:30-5:00 MT


4. Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the orthodontic or dental industry, specifically with insurance
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening
  • Ability to speak confidently in front of groups
  • Empathy and compassion for patients with a problem-solving sense of urgency
  • Professional demeanor in all situations
  • Ability to adapt quickly, multitask, and navigate multiple systems
  • Good judgment, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Must live and work full-time in one of the following states: Arizona, Alabama, Missouri, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • $19.50 per hour (estimate for Colorado-based hires only)
