In this role, you won't manage a caseload, appear in court, or meet with clients directly. Instead, you'll sit behind the scenes as the legal expert our non-attorney Sales Consultants rely on during consultations, giving them real-time guidance so every potential client gets an accurate, well-informed read on their immigration options. This is the ideal role for an attorney who loves immigration law and wants to put that knowledge to work every day, without the demands of direct client representation, court appearances, or case management. If you'd rather be the expert in the room advising the people who talk to clients than be the one on the front line yourself, this was built for you. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU'LL OWN ▸ Sales Team Legal Support Serve as the on-call legal resource for Sales Consultants before, during, and after client consultations Help consultants assess a prospective client's immigration options in real time, including family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, naturalization, waivers, and other benefits Flag red flags, complications, or unusual fact patterns that need a closer legal read before a case is sold Review consultation notes and case facts to confirm the legal strategy being presented to prospective clients is sound ▸ Training & Enablement Train and coach the sales team on immigration law fundamentals so they can have smarter, more accurate conversations with prospective clients Build and maintain talking points, scripts, and reference materials that translate legal concepts into clear, sales-ready language Run regular refreshers on policy changes and how they affect what the sales team can tell prospective clients ▸ Legal Accuracy & Compliance Ensure every representation made to a prospective client during the sales process is legally accurate and ethically sound Partner with the Legal Director to keep sales-facing guidance aligned with current law and firm standards Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy changes and translate what matters for the sales process ▸ Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with Sales Consultants, Intake, and firm leadership to improve the quality and accuracy of the consultation-to-hire process Contribute to process improvements that increase conversion quality and reduce legally inaccurate promises to prospective clients Provide feedback that helps the sales team spot cases that are a strong legal fit for the firm ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Sales Consultants consistently give prospective clients accurate, legally sound guidance Cases sold during consultations are a strong legal fit, reducing downstream case issues Compliance with all legal and ethical standards is maintained across the sales process Strong collaboration exists between the legal team and sales team The sales team's immigration law knowledge visibly improves over time WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bilingual in English and Spanish, required Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school Active bar license in good standing 2+ years of immigration law experience Strong knowledge of family-based and humanitarian-based immigration matters Strong knowledge of USCIS processes and immigration eligibility requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-attorneys Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Comfortable in an advisory, non-litigating role rather than direct client representation Comfortable learning and utilizing new technologies Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar business software Experience working collaboratively with sales, intake, or non-legal teams a plus ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ YOU'RE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU… Know immigration law well and want to use that expertise without carrying a caseload or standing in court Enjoy teaching and coaching non-attorneys so they can do their jobs better Can translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance quickly Take ownership of the accuracy of every recommendation, even when you're not the one delivering it to the client Communicate clearly and work well as part of a cross-functional team Believe deeply in the mission of helping immigrant families build safer, more secure futures ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OUR CORE VALUES Commitment to Excellence — We constantly improve ourselves, our processes, and our results.
