Working Model Hybrid. During the first month of training, employees are expected to attend the office 3 days per week . After training, the standard expectation is 1 office day per week , although additional office attendance may be required based on business needs. Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Guadalajara time). Some flexibility may be required to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. , depending on business needs. Additional flexibility is expected during month-end close periods. Position Overview We are looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team of one of our U.S.-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career accounting professional who wants to build a long-term career in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and comfortable communicating in English with customers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidence speaking over the phone, and a proactive attitude to ask questions, raise concerns, and seek clarification whenever needed. Key Responsibilities Support the accounts receivable process by following up with customers regarding outstanding invoices. Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to answer payment questions and resolve discrepancies. Assist with cash application and maintaining accurate customer account balances. Track outstanding receivables and update AR records. Support invoice processing and documentation activities. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate payment posting and account reconciliation. Assist with bank-related and accounts receivable administrative tasks. Provide support during month-end close activities. Escalate payment issues, discrepancies, or process concerns to senior team members when appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation and follow established accounting procedures. Availability to work in a hybrid manner at our offices in Guadalajara, Mexico at Midtown Jalisco. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. 0–1 year of professional experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Finance, internships, or related administrative roles. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Confidence communicating with customers over the phone. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proactive mindset with the confidence to ask questions and seek guidance when needed. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and grow within an accounting career.
