Bilingual Medical Receptionist & Executive Assistant Location: Remote Employment Type: Part-Time Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week Industry: Physical Therapy / Healthcare Position Summary One of our clients is seeking a proactive and highly organized Bilingual Medical Receptionist & Executive Assistant to support the daily operations of a growing physical therapy practice. This role combines front-office medical reception responsibilities with executive administrative support to the practice leadership. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has previous experience working in a physical therapy practice, and is comfortable managing patient communications, referrals, scheduling, executive administrative tasks, and high-volume email correspondence in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Medical Reception & Patient Coordination Manage a high-volume shared email inbox and prioritize incoming requests. Answer inbound patient calls professionally in both English and Spanish. Communicate with Spanish-speaking patients, referral sources, and providers. Process and coordinate new patient referrals. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Maintain accurate patient records and update internal systems. Escalate urgent patient matters appropriately. Executive & Administrative Support Provide administrative support to the practice leadership. Coordinate calendars, meetings, and daily priorities. Organize documents and maintain accurate administrative records. Assist with day-to-day operational tasks and workflow coordination. Support special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Previous experience working in a physical therapy practice is required. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Executive Assistant, Intake Coordinator, or Healthcare Administrative Assistant. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email platforms, and CRM or case management systems.
