About the Opportunity

micro1 is engaging experienced Bilingual Mental Health Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on enhancing next-generation AI systems with nuanced psychological expertise.

In this role, you will apply your background in clinical psychology, psychiatry, psychological research, and mental health to evaluate and improve AI-generated content. Your expertise will help shape how AI models understand psychological concepts, reason through mental health scenarios, and respond appropriately across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts.

Prior AI experience is not required—your professional and academic expertise in mental health is the primary focus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate AI-generated psychological content for accuracy, relevance, clinical appropriateness, and ethical standards.
  • Develop and review datasets involving psychological case studies, assessments, clinical scenarios, and therapeutic conversations for AI training.
  • Provide detailed written feedback and verbal insights to improve AI responses across clinical scenarios, research vignettes, and therapeutic dialogues.
  • Identify potential psychological biases, inaccuracies, cultural issues, or inappropriate assumptions in AI-generated outputs.
  • Recommend evidence-based improvements to psychological content and model responses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate psychological concepts, frameworks, and professional standards into AI training processes.
  • Assess AI outputs for cultural, linguistic, and clinical appropriateness across diverse user scenarios.
  • Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and knowledge-sharing resources supporting ongoing AI development.
  • Apply sound professional judgment when reviewing sensitive mental health and psychological content.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced professional or academic expertise in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of psychological concepts, assessment, mental health, and clinical or research contexts.
  • Completed PhD in Psychology or MD with completed Psychiatry residency.
  • Professional-level proficiency in at least one of the following languages:
  • French

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience in clinical practice, psychological research, psychiatry, or higher education.
  • Experience evaluating psychological assessments, case studies, clinical narratives, or therapeutic dialogues.
  • Experience identifying bias, inaccuracies, or cultural considerations in psychological content.
  • Previous collaboration on interdisciplinary, technology-driven, or research-focused projects.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation, data annotation, model assessment, or human-feedback workflows.
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
