About the role:

Join the IT Performance and Partnership team in the bilingual Product Owner position. In this role, you will help shape the vision and direction of digital products that deliver meaningful value. Working closely with stakeholders and Agile teams, you will translate business needs into clear priorities, manage the product roadmap and backlog, and guide demand from intake through delivery. Your sound judgment and analytical skills will help balance competing priorities, manage risks and ensure solutions support customer needs and organizational goals.

What you’ll do :

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, providing clarity on priorities, business context, and acceptance criteria, ensuring active participation from all relevant stakeholders.
  • Approve sprint results and ensure that deliverables meet the defined acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor progress towards product outcomes and value realization, provide regular updates to stakeholders and adjust product priorities and backlog items as necessary to reflect changing business needs.
  • Refine product features and backlog priorities to ensure alignment with evolving objectives and respond to changing project dynamics.
  • Foster strong relationships with the product team, line of business (LOB), and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Identify and articulate the business value of product features, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases that support product initiatives, including cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments.
  • Define, articulate and maintain the product vision that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.

What you should have :

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Business, Finance or Commerce. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Certification in Scrum Product Ownership, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO). A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in product and project management or a related field, with at least three years in an Agile environment.
  • Proficient in developing and managing product roadmaps, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and best practices in backlog prioritization.
  • Skilled in defining business value and developing business cases that support product initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both official languages, with a focus on articulating product vision and strategy to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to identify and resolve dependencies and roadblocks, ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery of product milestones.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Knowledge of ERP D365
  • Certification in Agile Lean methodologies.
  • Certification as an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
  • Certification in Product Owner scaling frameworks (Disciplined Agile, SAFe, Scrum at Scale, LeSS).
