Bilingual QA Automation Specialist

Our client, an established Logistics company, is seeking a QA Automation Analyst to join their team.

Reporting to the QA Lead, this role plays a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software by building and maintaining automated testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with Developers, Tech Leads, and Project Managers to strenghthen their automation practice.

THis is a fully remote role with some travel needed to Montreal on occasion.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define test plans and identify automation opportunities
• Be the go-to person for automation on the team
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and integration testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality assurance
• Execute automated and manual tests as needed, analyzing results and reporting defects
• Enhance testing frameworks for scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Contribute to regression and performance testing by expanding automated coverage
• Stay up to date on emerging tools and best practices in test automation
• Document testing processes, frameworks, and test results to ensure transparency and reproducibility

What You Bring

• Bilingualism in English and French (Required)
• 4-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years focused on test automation
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest) - a MUST
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD tools and release management
• Strong understanding of API testing and service validation (e.g., Postman, REST API tools)
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field is considered an asset
