Our client has built a respected reputation in the market research industry by helping major companies and organizations collect dependable survey data and make informed decisions.

We are currently recruiting Bilingual Telephone Interviewers for a remote market research project.

You must reside in Texas and speak English plus either Mandarin or Cantonese fluently.

Position Details

• Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
• Hours: 18 to 40 hours per week
• Employment status: Part time, nonexempt
• Location: Remote within Texas
• Project duration: Expected to continue through November 2026
• Continued employment may be available for top performers

Responsibilities

• Make outbound research calls to potential survey respondents
• Read survey questions exactly as written
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Record multiple choice and open-ended responses accurately
• Follow calling procedures and quality requirements for each project

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese
• Ability to speak and read the applicable language fluently
• Mandarin applicants must read Traditional Chinese characters
• Clear listening and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer, keyboard, mouse, and internet skills
• Ability to remain focused while seated for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and availability for an assigned schedule
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Current Texas residency

Home Equipment Requirements

• Windows 11 computer
• Chromebooks, Apple computers, and Mac operating systems cannot be used
• High speed internet, with a wired LAN connection preferred
• Hotspots and public or shared internet connections cannot be used
• Headset with a noise canceling microphone
• Quiet and private workspace without interruptions
• Ability to download a VPN, authentication tools, and required work software

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• Day shift: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time
• Evening shift: 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM Central Time
• Saturday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time
• Sunday: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Central Time

You must work at least one weekend shift each week. Weeknight and weekend availability is preferred. Schedules depend on business needs and your availability.

Preferred Experience

• Telephone survey, polling, interviewing, or market research experience
• One year of experience in a similar role
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Bilingual reading, speaking, and writing proficiency

Interview Process

Virtual interviews take approximately 45 minutes and require an on camera Microsoft Teams meeting. The process includes basic interview questions, a typing assessment, a reading assessment, and a bilingual language assessment.
