We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Spanish & Portugues speaking Billing Associate to join our team in creating a new European Service Support Center in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. The Center will deliver high quality Finance support services for Americold operations across Europe. By leveraging best practices and technology, we aim to create a collaborative environment that fosters growth and development. This role is critical to support Americold’s growth across all Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Perform sets of pre and post billing checks to ensure invoices goes out in a timely manner (daily / weekly / monthly)
Reviewing billing invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with what is agreed with customers.
Conducting quality assurance checks on billing data to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies.
Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies (Customers claims) or issues in a timely manner.
Collaborating with IT and finance teams to implement improvements in billing processes and systems.
Developing and maintaining quality assurance procedures and documentation.
Generating reports on billing quality and performance metrics for management review.
Ensuring adherence to billing standards and best practices.
Participating in audits and compliance reviews related to billing processes.
Key Qualifications
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and (English - intermediate level)
- Ideally a bachelor's degree and/or Finance qualifications and training
Skills:
Proven experience in billing, finance, or quality assurance role
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently and pro-actively
Excellent organizational skills managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
Strong collaboration skills across diverse, multicultural teams.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications
