LegalSight is an exciting legal services firm at the crossroads of global innovation. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Billing Coordinator to join our remote Accounting team. The Accounting team collaborates with and works cross-functionally with multiple internal teams, external partners, and third-party vendors.

The Billing Coordinator will report to and support 2-3 Accounting and Finance team members. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, a good communicator, inquisitive, and most important - has an eye for detail.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 9:30AM - 5:30PM Eastern Standard Time (this is an OVERNIGHT shift in the Philippines).

Job Description:

• Perform daily billing processes utilizing software and internal processes
• Direct reports to 2-3 Accounting/Finance team members
• General ledger housekeeping
• Creation of work papers (support documentation) from source files
• Document accounting/finance process updates
• Work cross-functionally with different departments
• Potential to take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows, such as financial reporting, ad hoc reporting, and data/account analysis
• Data entry

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years experience in an accounting/finance environment
• Fluent in English (reading and writing)
• Attention to detail is a MUST
• Ability to work EST zone hours (9:30am-5:30pm EST)
• High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Positive, open attitude with flexibility to work on different projects
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and databases
• Strong communication (both verbal and written) skills
• Familiar with basic Excel functionality and other Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
