BIM-Coordinator & BIM Process Engineer (m/f/x) - Smart Green Tech Startup

Mission The BIM Coordinator will be the perfect complement to the project management and the project team and will be the first point of contact for overall BIM coordination of client engagements. He or she will ensure the company-wide application of BIM in all processes. In this context, he constantly ensures that BIM methods and systems are regularly developed further and that processes can be fully automated. You will report to the Chief Delivery Officer. Start Date September 2022 Key responsibilities and activities Co-development and implementation of the BIM strategy corresponding to our corporate goals. Plan, implement and manage the collaboration of the BIM system with the Imti platform for automated building design. To this end, accompany the introduction and successful implementation of BIM processes Ensure successful coordination and alignment of the processes within the team as well as with customers and partners Responsible working with the factory BPOs (Production, OT/IT, Supply Chain, Platform) to define the ‘will be’ vision for the BIM system Participate to fit gaps & lead system & process design workshops. He/she needs to be working for Imti on process standardization & optimization globally Serve internal customers by accelerating their digital processes by automation, data quality standards and process improvement Dispositive management of the project participants for the areas of planning, construction implementation and client teams as well as external service providers Technical and planning harmonization of different models and systems of all planning participants (e.g. architects, technical and timber construction planners) Co-selection and implementation of suitable applications for a continuous, digital and transparent planning process Coordination of all activities required to link scheduling and cost control with the overall 3D model and ensure that the project is carried out in line with quality, budget and schedule requirements Communicate with all stakeholders on all key issues of the assigned project Model-based quantity take-offs, calculations as well as collision checks in the 3D model Acceptance of the sub models and the overall model Experience & Qualifications University degree (master or diploma) in the field of civil engineering/construction informatics, transport or a field of study corresponding to the task at hand Expertise in software architecture, data analytics, as well as experience developing digital solutions and managing digital performance 5-7 years experience in different BIM projects, BIM coordination and BIM processes You are well-versed in the development of the BIM execution plan as well as the creation and optimization of BIM work processes Knowledge in the application of the HOAI in various service phases, in the AHO, VOB and VOL during the planning and construction phase is desirable Experience with agile project management tools (e.g. Scrum/ Kanban) for the processing of complex project tasks is an advantage High degree of personal responsibility, results-oriented approach to work, a quick grasp and a high quality standard Very high communication and forcefulness skills to successfully implement the interests and project goals towards all project participants and a high degree of teamwork rounds out your profile Ideally, you have basic knowledge of a modern programming or scripting language in order to understand and optimize existing processes
