🔧 We're Hiring: BIM Modeling / Steel Detailer (Remote)
MAFCO – Mahmoud Atta Factory for Metal Products Co., a Jeddah-based manufacturer and fabricator of structural and architectural metal products (steel doors, handrails, staircases, gratings, balustrades, facade metalwork), is looking for an experienced BIM Modeling / Steel Detailer to join our team — remotely.

📊 Reports to: Engineering Manager
What you'll do:
✅ Develop 3D BIM models of structural steel, staircases, handrails, gratings and facade metalwork from architectural/structural drawings
✅ Produce fabrication (shop) drawings and erection drawings, incl. connection details, BOM and cutting lists
✅ Coordinate models across disciplines to resolve clashes before fabrication
✅ Extract material take-offs to support estimating and procurement
✅ Maintain drawing registers and revision control
✅ Liaise remotely with site/production teams during fabrication and installation
What you'll bring:
🔹 Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering (or related)
🔹 3–5+ years' experience in steel detailing / BIM modeling
🔹 Proficiency in Tekla Structures and/or SDS/2
🔹 Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit is a plus
🔹 Solid understanding of steel connections and shop drawing standards
🔹 Good English (written & spoken); Arabic is a plus
🔹 Reliable internet + home-office setup for remote modeling work
🔹 Self-motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently
Nice to have:
⭐ Experience detailing for the Saudi construction market
⭐ Architectural metalwork detailing (handrails, staircases, balustrades)
⭐ Cloud-based model sharing (Tekla Model Sharing, Trimble Connect, BIM 360)
