Bookkeeper

We are hiring! 🚀 Senior US Bookkeeper (100% Remote - Latam)

At Mighty Nonprofits, we help mission-driven organizations in the U.S. strengthen their financial operations. We are looking for a high-performing, self-directed Senior US Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of clients.

We are seeking a Bookkeeper with 2–5 years of experience with U.S.-based companies to manage daily full-cycle bookkeeping tasks in Quickbooks online.

📌 What you need to apply:

• Experience: 2–5 years of solid full-cycle bookkeeping for U.S.-based companies.
• Software: Advanced, active daily use of QuickBooks Online (QBO) within the last 12 months (Desktop-only does not qualify).
• Education: Formal accounting/technical degree (Contador Público or equivalent is a huge plus).
• English: B2+ / C1 (Advanced) (both written and verbal) to communicate directly with U.S. clients. Must be comfortable participating in live meetings, providing financial updates, and managing written communication directly with English-speaking clients.
• Hours: 40 hours/week, aligned to PST timezone.
• Core Competencies: Full-cycle bookkeeping, bank and client account reconciliations, administrative support (email management), confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping (Primary Function)

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks for assigned clients.
• Complete client account reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Maintain well-organized financial records within QuickBooks.

Administrative & Additional Support

• Assist with email management.
• Provide general support for ad-hoc tasks as requested.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and responsiveness in all communications.
