About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a dynamic UK-based social commerce business. This is a full-time, remote position based in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing financial records, processing invoices, handling payments, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices. You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by supporting day-to-day financial operations and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting. A relevant degree in Finance or Accounting is required. Proficiency in managing financial transactions, invoicing, and reconciliation processes is essential. Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho is highly desirable, with Xero expertise being particularly advantageous. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Google Workspace tools, especially Google Sheets, are necessary. The candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for liaising with stakeholders. A solutions-focused mindset, proactive approach, and experience working in fast-paced or scale-up environments will set the right candidate apart. Experience working with brands selling on online marketplaces or familiarity with tools like Dext, TikTok marketplace reporting, and Google Sheets will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities
- Processing partner invoices accurately and ensuring timely payments.
- Managing and reconciling payments related to partners and vendors.
- Maintaining precise and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, receipts, and invoices.
- Supporting daily bookkeeping activities and financial reporting processes.
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions such as cash inflows, accounts payable, and receivables.
- Investigating discrepancies in financial data, identifying root causes, and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensuring all transactions are reconciled accurately within specified deadlines.
- Collaborating with the finance team and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and consistency across the organization.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding financial matters, including invoices and payments.
- Utilizing accounting software and reporting tools to maintain reliable financial data.
- Participating in the development and continuous improvement of bookkeeping and financial processes to support company growth.
