Bookkeeper for a Business Consulting Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)

Client Information The Company offers business consulting, system setup, and implementation services tailored to various business types. It also provides a la carte business solutions to support the unique needs of a diverse range of clients. Job Description • Review and verify monthly financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) for accuracy • Identify, investigate, and correct accounting errors • Generate financial packages using PayHOA accounting software • Reconcile two separate bank accounts monthly against physical bank statements • Coordinate with external CPA to prepare and provide required documents for tax filings and audits • Process vendor payments through PayHOA software • Collect, organize, and maintain vendor documentation • Coordinate with state authorities regarding gross receipts tax payments • Perform accounting cleanup and reconciliation work as needed Must Haves • This role is only open to Filipinos permanently residing in the Philippines • Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (must demonstrate solid understanding of accounting principles and how transactions work) • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements • Strong bank reconciliation skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Nice to Haves • Experience with PayHOA accounting software (training provided through built-in modules) • U.S. business experience Home Office Requirements Please only apply for this role if you have the following home office requirements: · Perfectly working headset and webcam · Stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps ~ 50 Mbps · Up to date computer system with a minimum of Windows 10 or later and macOS Monterey (12.0) or later · Quiet room with no distractions or background noises · A backup plan if the power goes out or if your internet connection becomes unstable during your shift Only applicants meeting the strict criteria above will be contacted.
