Vacancy Overview : Receipting Team Manager
Salary 29400k – 35000k
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Receipting Team Manager will support the Receipting function on behalf of our clients whilst managing, monitoring, and driving projects forward to implement business efficiencies and improvements.
The role of the Receipting Team is to efficiently and accurately allocate income that is received each day into our Client’s bank accounts. The team need to effectively communicate with both debtors and Clients to resolve cash allocation queries within specified KPI’s. Unallocated cash is monitored closely to ensure minimum values are outstanding at each month end.
Accuracy and timeliness of allocation is pivotal in reducing unnecessary rework for our collections team.
This is a fast paced environment, with strong growth and improvement plans for 2022 and beyond, so the ability to adapt to change quickly, work under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential skills for the role.
The Receipting Team Manager will need to possess excellent prioritization skills to manage workloads in line with Business and team requirements. The Receipting Team Manager will be required to lead teams effectively to deliver excellent results to timescales and budget and support teams and individuals through the work cycle and any improvements and transformation.
A people focused approach (delivery through people) is essential as is a keen eye for detail and knowledge of Change Management processes and Risk Management.
We are looking for an experienced manager to own and deliver service improvements, to enhance our existing team’s capabilities and drive forward change in our internal processes, as well of those of our Clients.
Alongside team management and development, the Receipting Team Manager will play an active role in managing our client relationship and driving and demonstrating continuous improvement of the effectiveness and performance of the service against contractual KPI’s.
This is a Hybrid working role, which candidates will be required to manage and be flexible with in line with Business needs. The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the office on a continuous basis.
Essential Skills:
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Good education to GCSE level, including English and Maths
Excellent client facing skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to describe and influence change in a positive, constructive, and professional manner.
Ability to demonstrate strong, fair performance management and development of teams of up to 15 people
Excellent Office skills – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Proven record to work on own initiative with minimal supervision to deliver excellent results
Appreciates and demonstrate the importance of data security in the services provided
Strong leadership skills
Proven track record of building highly effective and productive teams
Flexible and adaptable to work environment and requirements
Must be IT literate and have working knowledge of Macro’s.
Desirable Skills:
A working knowledge of Oracle, in particular Receipting modules, ideally in a Shared Service environment
Key Responsibilities
To be responsible for performance management of our service against contractual KPI’s to timescales and budget
To develop and manage the team in line with service improvement plans & the Target Operating Model
To own and manage the Client service improvement plans, managing risk and issues, driving quality assurance, and providing accurate and timely reporting internally & externally
To own, create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documentation
Own and deliver against contractual service agreements, including effective management of all changes as part of the ongoing service improvement, including Contractual amendments, and billing to Clients as required.
Ensure departmental compliance with ISAE 3402 audit regulations and any other audit requirements.
Develop highly effective working relationships with key Client contacts to ensure service delivery meets contractual requirements.
Manage the team to internal KPI’s and Objectives
Manage and monitor Performance within the team, ensuring the correct support plan is in place and being followed
Lead and effectively support the team and wider business ensuring best practise is established, developed and sustained
Complete regular 1:1 and performance feedback sessions with team members
Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of all data to which you have access
Other ad hoc tasks and initiatives that may be required by the business or process.
