SUMMARY
The Brand Manager - Tejava drives the execution of the brand strategy and day-to-day leadership of the Tejava brand, with a focus on growth, positioning, and building consumer connection. This role serves as a steward and internal champion of Tejava, protecting what makes the brand distinctive while expanding its relevance and reach. The Brand Manager should have a strong consumer orientation, a genuine connection to the Tejava brand, and a commitment to helping more people discover and enjoy it. The Brand Manager should believe in Tejava's place in a healthy lifestyle and be personally invested in helping more people discover and enjoy the brand. This person combines strategic thinking, disciplined execution, commercial judgment, attention to detail, and strong relationships with the people who make, sell, support, and grow Tejava.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES– May include but not limited to the following:
• Drive Tejava brand positioning, annual planning, and marketing programs designed to support volume, revenue, profit, distribution, velocity, and long-term brand equity goals.
• Develop, lead, analyze, and optimize consumer and shopper marketing programs, translating performance and consumer insights into clear recommendations and action.
• Lead experiential sampling, retail, and promotional activations from concept through execution. measurement, and optimization.
• Lead and execute social and digital activity across relevant platforms, ensuring content and consumer interactions consistently reflect the brand's identity, voice, and strategic priorities.
• Contribute content and/or build brand presentations for internal and external audiences, including sales presentation and for cross-functional partners.
• Analyze and report on SPINS and other syndicated, customer, consumption, and market data; explain why results matter and recommend what the brand should do next.
• Monitor Tejava brand health, category trends, competitive activity, distribution, velocity, and consumer behavior; identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Lead various cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Creative, and agency partners, with accountability for quality and on-time delivery.
• Partner with Sales to translate brand strategy into customer- and channel-relevant programs that strengthen distribution, drive trial and repeat purchase, improve velocity, and support sustainable growth.
• Build strong relationships across CGWC and act as an internal champion for the Tejava brand, helping employees and partners understand what the brand stands for, who its consumers are, and why the product is special.
• Develop strategic recommendations based on consumer, market, competitive, sales, and financial performance, presenting a clear point of view on opportunities, risks, priorities, and recommended actions.
• Evaluate advertising, promotional, digital, social, sampling, and customer marketing efforts to ensure activities are effective, coordinated, and consistent with Tejava brand strategy and positioning.

• Leadership & Independence - Operates with a high degree of independence and ownership in managing day-to-day Tejava brand activities. Provides leadership and direction across cross-functional initiatives and external partners through influence, subject-matter expertise, collaboration, and accountability, while escalating the most complex or strategically significant matters to the VP Marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years progressive marketing/brand management experience; CPG or food and beverage experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
• This position does not currently have direct supervisory responsibilities; leadership is exercised through brand ownership, cross-functional influence, and direction of agency and external partners.
WORK SCHEDULE
This remote exempt position generally works during regular business hours, with flexibility based on business needs. Occasional travel and work outside normal business hours may be required for customer meetings, brand activations, events, agency collaboration, or other business priorities.
