Overview

Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Brand Storyteller shapes how

Bullhorn communicates its value to customers and the market. You'll transform business strategy, product complexity, and customer insights into differentiated narratives and clear language that strengthen our brand and drive action. You are a strategic thinker who owns the messaging architecture, brand voice, and the frameworks that enable consistent storytelling and messaging across all channels, from the website to product launches to keynotes. Working closely with the marketing leadership team, you'll operate at the intersection of all marketing functions, including product marketing, events, research, PR, demand generation, and creative, partnering with teams across the company to ensure Bullhorn tells a unified, compelling story at every touchpoint.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain Bullhorn's brand voice, tone-of-voice guidelines, and messaging architecture across all channels

  • Create taglines, big ideas, messaging frameworks, and overarching positioning narratives for products, campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives

  • Write strategic copy for every medium, including web pages, landing pages, email campaigns, ad copy, social posts, videos, and sales collateral

  • Script video content for campaigns, product demos, explainers, testimonials, hero videos, and short-form

  • Develop corporate and executive messaging, including keynote narratives, event environments, rally cries, and thought leadership content

  • Build reusable copy templates, frameworks, and messaging blocks to accelerate production across the team

  • Quality-gate key copy before it goes live, ensuring brand alignment, messaging accuracy, tone and manner, and consistent terminology

  • Build a strong bench of freelance copywriting and editing talent to support marketing channels during peak periods

  • Own project workflow and prioritization across competing requests, managing timelines and communicating dependencies

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and collaboration; you ask good questions, push back on unclear briefs, and exercise influence through trust-building rather than authority

  • You have experience in B2B, SaaS, marketing, and understand how strategic messaging drives business outcomes

  • You can juggle multiple projects with different deadlines and audiences without losing quality

  • You're curious and love to learn about customer needs and what actually moves people to action

  • Bonus if you have advertising agency experience

The annual on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are $140,000-$154,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

The posted range represents the good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Actual pay within the range will be based on factors such as, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
