Operations Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid Work Environment

Schedule: In Office Monday, Tuesday, and 1st & 3rd Friday

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months)

Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support a fast-paced financial services operations team. This role focuses on operational and administrative processing activities related to investment and financial transactions. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, critical thinker, and technology-savvy professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving problems.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in banking, wealth management, brokerage operations, securities, retirement services, annuities, or other financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily operational activities, including account maintenance, asset movements, account transfers, and new account setups.
• Complete routine and complex transactions accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
• Research, identify, and resolve operational issues while ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
• Follow established procedures, service level agreements, and quality standards.
• Utilize Salesforce and other internal systems to manage workflows and support operational processes.
• Perform data entry, research, and administrative support functions.
• Learn and support various financial products, software applications, and operational procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure productivity, accuracy, and excellent service delivery.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly with minimal supervision.
• Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Office, or similar business applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
