AbbVie is seeking a BTS Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to support the connection between Brand Teams and Affiliate, Area/Global, and Global Commercial BTS teams across Europe.

In this role, you will help stakeholders identify and use technology, digital solutions, data, and analytics to support business priorities. You will also contribute to technology projects, capability development, compliance activities, and the continuous improvement of digital solutions within the affiliate or region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to Brand Teams, Customer Excellence, and local stakeholders on the use of technology to support value-added digital activities and business priorities.
  • Accelerate the adoption of AI, automation, analytics, and other digital capabilities across the affiliate by identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes through digital innovation.
  • Understand the local business landscape and dynamics to identify opportunities where technology can support key business strategies.
  • Understand emerging technologies and digital strategies within Global and Area BTS, and assess their potential impact on affiliate business strategies, systems, and processes to support effective transitions.
  • Define, initiate, and oversee the delivery of technology projects at affiliate and regional level, including the implementation of Global and Area systems.
  • Work with Affiliate and Geo teams to prioritize technology portfolios and initiatives based on business impact and effort.
  • Support affiliate security, compliance, governance, and audit readiness activities, including security remediation, identity and access management, MFA, NIS2 preparedness, and the maintenance of audit-ready documentation.
  • Help stakeholders make informed decisions regarding risk, costs, measures of success, and return on investment for BTS projects.
  • Maximize the impact and adoption of platforms and solutions by communicating their value and gathering user feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Foster innovation and support change-management activities across the affiliate and region.
  • Understand the external technology environment and assess how it may affect AbbVie at affiliate level, as well as the opportunities it may create for the market.
  • Promote and share relevant technology solutions and best practices within BTS, across affiliates, and with Brand Teams.
  • Build effective working relationships with Affiliate, Area/Geo, Global, and Corporate BTS teams.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and service providers effectively and constructively, ensuring appropriate contractual arrangements are in place.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five to seven years of experience in IT consulting, digital solutions, business relationship management, or a related area.
  • Experience analyzing, designing, and improving business processes.
  • Experience managing technology projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements, the systems life cycle, and digital strategies supported by analytics.
  • Knowledge of digital and technology topics such as UX, web development, marketing technology, SEO, SEM, web analytics, social media, Sales, or CRM data management.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels within a matrix organization and lead without direct authority.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Fluency in English.
