The Business Advisor collaborates with clients to understand their revenue management business model, current challenges, and implications of longer-term strategies on end-to-end processes then deliver recommendations on transformation opportunities, standardization, governance, operational efficiencies, or technology solutions. This role collaborates closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to identify requirements, design optimized solutions, and ensure successful project execution. The Business Advisor brings deep industry knowledge, functional expertise, and business analysis skills to drive value realization.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage industry experiences to guide client with new and alternative ways to address their problems by challenging the status quo – operationally and strategically that align with Vistex capabilities
• During implementation engagements, support the project team to gain knowledge of the delivery processes, document client business processes, support and influence the design of future business processes.
• This role is accountable to validate the delivered solution aligns to business requirements, meets business usability needs, solution makes business sense and aligns to business expected value.
• Facilitate business workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, including documenting the RTM (requirements traceability matrix) and business process mapping activities.
• Provide business content into the Blueprint Design Document (BPD) and may own sections of document.
• Provide business context to functional specifications, support, testing, and deployment activities with focus on business readiness, ensuring business requirements are met.
• Provide subject matter expertise in industry with the best practices and Vistex functional areas.
• Work with change management organization with focus on business readiness to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and solutions.
• Participate in user training sessions, knowledge transfer, and documentation preparation.
• Assist in resolving functional issues and provide post-implementation support.
• Recommend industry leading business practices for Vistex solution.

The compensation for this position is $88k CAD - $120k CAD. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus.
