Business Analyst

About the Role The organization is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the finance industry, and strong skills in data analysis and management . The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to help design and deliver impactful digital products within a dynamic, data-driven environment. Scope of Work / Responsibilities Strategic Analysis & Decommissioning Lead the analysis and decommissioning of existing applications to enhance efficiency and data accuracy while ensuring alignment with business objectives and security standards. Requirements Gathering & Documentation Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to support transitions to enterprise platforms. Gap Analysis & Alignment Identify and address data or functionality gaps between legacy and target systems to ensure smooth migration and improved system integration. Transition Strategy & Risk Reduction Develop and manage a comprehensive transition plan to decommission legacy applications with minimal disruption, optimizing resource use and mitigating operational risks. Stakeholder Engagement & Readiness Support stakeholders through change management activities, process reviews, and readiness assessments to ensure successful adoption of new systems. Implementation & Performance Monitoring Coordinate solution implementation, assist in QA and deployment, and monitor product performance and user feedback to identify improvement areas. Reporting & Incident Management Provide regular project status reports, track progress, and assist in resolving escalated issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive actions. Requirements and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, ideally within the finance industry . Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Experience with ITIL, Agile , or similar IT service management and delivery frameworks. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise financial systems such as CreditLens, LoanIQ, or Summit . Reporting and Coordination The consultant will take direction from the assigned manager or project lead and will work closely with internal teams and relevant stakeholders. Additional related tasks may be assigned as required by the team or supervisor. Work Arrangement Remote work setup with occasional onsite reporting if necessary. Work schedule: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Manila Time).
