Business Analyst

APM is seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery and improvement of digital platforms used across the organisation.

Working within our agile technology team, you'll help shape solutions that support frontline teams, improve participant experiences, and deliver better outcomes across Australia and New Zealand. Our team delivers digital products including Pulse, web applications, reporting solutions, and emerging technology initiatives across Employment Services and other programs.

Business Analysis experience is highly regarded but not essential. We're also interested in operational professionals who are passionate about improving processes, solving problems, and driving better business outcomes.

Some of our most successful Business Analysts began their careers in Employment Services. They brought strong operational knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for solving problems to the role, and then developed their Business Analysis skills within our team.

We're looking for curious, analytical people and encourage applicants with experience across all levels of Employment Services, including frontline service delivery, leadership, quality, and operational support roles.

A Day in the Life

Working closely with operational stakeholders, product managers, developers, and testers, you'll:

• Gather and analyse business requirements
• Facilitate workshops and process-mapping activities
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and user experiences
• Translate business needs into requirements and user stories
• Support solution delivery, testing and implementation
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across Australia and New Zealand
