Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for enterprise data, integration, and application initiatives. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to map processes, document requirements, and support the successful delivery of complex technology programs.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Toronto, with 2-3 days a week in the office.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
• Lead and facilitate requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews
• Analyze current-state business processes and system workflows to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Support data, integration, and enterprise application projects by clarifying requirements and validating solution design against business needs
• Collaborate with architects, developers, delivery leads, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives
• Maintain clear requirements documentation, traceability, and change logs throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews, solution walkthroughs, and sign-off on requirements and designs
• Support UAT planning, test case review, and defect triage to validate that delivered solutions meet business needs
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
  
  
  
  

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• 5+ years of experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Experience with data, integration, and enterprise application projects
• Strong process mapping, requirements documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively across business and technical audiences
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working directly with cross-functional teams including architecture, delivery, and engineering
• Exposure to testing activities such as UAT, test case review, and defect validation is an asset
