About Us
MOZAYDO was built by people who believe work should feel human - even when powered by technology.
We’re a remote-first company that connects talent, technology, and purpose to help companies grow sustainably.
We also believe recruitment should be more than matching keywords to job descriptions. It's about understanding people, recognising potential, and creating the right conditions for long-term success. Here, ownership matters more than control, and progress matters more than perfection.
People powered, tech enabled.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who can bring their expertise, ambition, and unique perspective to one of the project teams we support.
At MOZAYDO, we believe great careers are built where talent, purpose, and opportunity meet. While we're currently hiring for a specific project environment, our focus goes beyond matching skills to requirements. We want to understand where you can create the most impact and continue growing.
For this opportunity, you will join an international banking project focused on controlling and reducing operational risk.
Working within a Non-Financial Risk (NFR) IT team, you will collect, analyse and consolidate requirements from Operational Permanent Control teams and the central Risk department. You will translate business needs into IT requirements that support the development and enhancement of tools for risk automation and control.
This mid-level role combines business analysis with delivery coordination, collaboration across global teams and guidance for offshore development resources.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse and consolidate business requirements, ensuring a holistic view across operational control and risk stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear IT requirements for development teams.
- Contribute to high-quality technical solutions aligned with architectural standards and the existing technology platform.
- Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and systems and improve straight-through processing.
- Support the development of a new platform while preserving the integrity of existing production processes.
- Participate throughout the delivery lifecycle, including high-level and detailed design, estimation, development coordination, unit testing and delivery.
- Progress initiatives independently and guide or mentor offshore developers when required.
- Plan resource usage against assigned budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers and business sponsors.
- Monitor progress, report risks and issues, and escalate when management visibility or decisions are required.
Requirements
- Experience in information technology, project management or business analysis relevant to a mid-level role.
- Experience interacting with and coordinating teams across international locations.
- Familiarity with application deployment, releases and environments.
- Ability to translate business needs into IT requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to offshore resources.
- Ability to present concise updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Fluent English.
- Strong verbal communication skills across business and technical teams.
- A structured, proactive and rigorous approach, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships quickly, understand different perspectives and contribute to team outcomes.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines and navigate complex resource and systems environments.
- Sound judgement in recognising when escalation to management is required.
Hiring Process
Our hiring process is designed to help both sides make an informed decision and ensure the best possible match between your experience, aspirations, and the project environment. Please note that the process may vary depending on the complexity and specific requirements of each opportunity.
1. Initial Conversation with Us: a first discussion focused on understanding your background, strengths, motivations, and the type of environment where you can thrive and create the greatest impact.
2. Project Team Qualification: a conversation with the project team to explore the role, responsibilities, expectations, and mutual alignment.
3. Role-Specific Evaluation (when applicable): depending on the position, this stage may include technical assessments, practical exercises, certification validation, personality assessments, security clearance requirements, or other evaluation methods relevant to the role.
4. Final Alignment Meeting: a final conversation to ensure expectations are aligned on both sides and that, if we move forward together, we start with clarity, confidence, and shared objectives.
