Business Analyst - 6+ months - hybrid - Hilversum, NL

We are hiring a Business Analyst to join one of our retail clients. This role will act as the bridge between data analytics and supply chain operations, driving operational excellence through business intelligence, performance insights, and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve complex supply chain challenges, and improve supply chain performance.

Requirements:

* Strong experience in business analytics within Supply Chain and/or retail environments.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
* Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Excel, and similar analytical tools.
* Ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights through visualisation and storytelling.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Experience managing projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Drive operational excellence through effective reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven recommendations.
* Monitor supply chain performance, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable insights.
* Build and execute solutions to complex supply chain and operational challenges.
* Conduct root cause analyses and evaluate the impact of improvements on key business KPIs.
* Partner with business and technology teams to improve data quality, completeness, and accessibility.
* Develop dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions for stakeholders.
* Support data literacy and analytical capability across the wider team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational, commercial, and planning objectives.
