Kick-start your career in the online gaming world and experience the very latest in technology and innovation.
Who we are
We’re Super Group, the NYSE-listed digital gaming company behind some of the world’s leading Sports and iGaming brands, including Betway and Jackpot City. We’re a powerhouse built on decades of expertise and we’re changing the game for good. Our mission is to give our customers a superclass entertainment experience.
Who we’re looking for
We’re on a thrilling journey of growth and innovation, and we need passionate, driven individuals to join us. At Super Group International, every day is action-packed, and we expect you to bring your A-game. In return, you’ll find a supportive environment where your skills can flourish and your career can soar.
Ready to become a game-changer? Supercharge your career with us and be part of something extraordinary.
Why we need you
We’re building experiences that wow our customers – and that starts with bold, curious people who want to do work that matters.
If you’re hungry to grow, excited by impact and ready for a challenge that will supercharge your career, this could be your moment.
As a Business Analyst Finance Process and Systems, you'll own how our finance processes run, end to end, and how they land in our systems. You'll work across our ERP — Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — and everything that feeds it or draws from it, as well as our Enterprise Performance Management system (TM1/EPM). You'll map both layers: the business process as the people running it understand it, and the system process underneath. This is a process role first, and a systems role second.
Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:
- Map end-to-end finance processes and the systems that run them, across record to report, procure to pay, accounts payable, travel, intercompany, tax, fixed assets, leases, close and consolidation, FP&A, etc.
- Map the system process underneath each one: which system does what, where the hand-offs sit, what every integration carries, and where the control points fall
- Keep the two views joined up, so a business process change can be traced to the system steps it touches and a system change can be traced back to the people it affects
- Find where the same process runs differently across entities, regions or teams without a good reason, and make the case for a single standard way of working
- Design target processes that are standard by default and deliberate about their exceptions, with local statutory requirements handled as controlled variations rather than as separate processes
- Analyse the high level calculation and allocation rules held in our EPM platform that generate journals posted into the ERP, including cost allocations, splits and waterfalls, accruals and provisions
- Document those rules in business terms: what the rule does, the driver behind it, who owns it, the basis it uses, how it is approved and what evidence it leaves
- Specify integrations from a business standpoint. What data moves, at what level of detail, on what trigger, who owns it on each side, what happens when it fails.
- Agree and document data contracts and process ownership, so that no team builds against an assumption another team has not signed up to
- Turn all of this into a functional business requirement document the delivery teams can build technical documents against, with traceability running from the process step to the requirement
- Design controls into the process rather than bolting them on afterwards: approval points, segregation of duties, reconciliations, and the evidence a SOX tester will ask for
- Run workshops with process owners across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Procurement and the operating businesses, and hold the line when standardisation gets uncomfortable
- Build the case for change: what the process costs today, the problems it creates, the realistic options, and a recommendation with cost and time set out honestly
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing against the process rather than the screen, testing the whole flow through to the journal it produces
- Measure the process after go-live and feed what you learn into the next change
This list covers your core responsibilities – with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.
What you’ll bring
You’re someone who brings:
- At least three years’ experience as a business or process analyst working on finance processes and the systems that run them
- Real understanding of finance end to end, including how a transaction becomes a journal, a balance and a reported number, across record to report, procure to pay, close, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting
- Proven process mapping and modelling ability at both business and system level, using a recognised notation, and the discipline to keep those maps current
- Ability to pick apart a calculation or allocation rule that posts to the ledger and explain in plain language what it does, why, and whether the result stands up
- Experience specifying integrations between finance systems from a business standpoint: data, level of detail, triggers, ownership, failure handling and reconciliation
- Experience standardising a process across multiple entities, countries or business units, and dealing with the resistance that follows
- Requirements discipline: user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications and traceability from process to test
- Strong communication skills. You will spend your day translating between finance people and technical people, and both sides need to recognise their own process in what you write
- The confidence to challenge constructively. We need someone who tests whether the request solves the real problem, not someone who only writes down what they are told
- Advanced Excel and enough comfort with data to check for yourself whether what you have been told is true
- Experience planning and running user acceptance testing with business users
- Comfortable working within change management and control requirements in a regulated, audited or listed environment
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality, accuracy and control
- Ability to manage several concurrent workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs on time and within scope
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
- Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, information systems, engineering or a related discipline. Relevant experience will also be considered.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some the following skills:
- Professional business analysis or process improvement certification
- Familiarity with a structured process framework, such as the APQC Process Classification Framework
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or a comparable ERP, in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment
- Exposure to an EPM platform such as IBM Planning Analytics or TM1, CCH Tagetik, OneStream, Anaplan or Oracle EPM Cloud, particularly where it posts back into the ERP
- Understanding of intercompany, allocations, and consolidation mechanics
- Understanding of IFRS group reporting and statutory reporting in a listed group
- Exposure to SOX, IT general controls and the evidence auditors expect from a finance process change
- SQL, or exposure to Power BI and modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric
- Experience working in agile delivery, using Jira, or similar
- Experience of data migration and master data remediation on a live finance system
- Exposure to online gaming or sports betting and the regulatory requirements that come with it. Helpful, but not essential
