Business Analyst I Healthcare Analytics

Position Purpose: Evaluate data and insights from extensive and integrated data sets to enable data-driven decision making to reduce overall cost of care and improve clinical outcomes for members. Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to identify areas of value, develop solutions, and deliver insights.

Key Detail: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Strong proficiency in Excel as this role involves analyzing enrollment and capitation data, investigating data discrepancies, conducting root-cause research, and documenting findings that support accurate member coverage and financial integrity.

• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems.
• Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of experience in business process, data analysis, or requirements analysis. Healthcare, analytics delivery, project management, and/or IT experience preferred. Working knowledge of analytical tools, including R, Python, SAS, ArcGIS, QGIS, Microstrategy, Tableau, Hadoop, or related tools preferred.

Pay Range: $27.02 - $48.55 per hour
