Business Analyst (m/f/x)

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Business Analyst (m/f/x).

Overview

• The PeopleSoft Business Analyst will partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define business processes, support solution design, and facilitate testing activities for PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions.

• Provides expertise and systems support in developing and enhancing business systems to provide new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions.

Essential Functions

• Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

• Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

• Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements.

• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement elaboration activities.

• Develop functional specifications, business process flows, and user stories.

• Collaborate with development teams to define and validate solutions.

• Perform impact analysis and requirements traceability.

• Develop test scenarios and support SIT and UAT execution.

• Manage defect triage and validate resolutions.

• Support deployment planning, training, and change management activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.

• Five years of systems analysis experience.

• Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g. third party software and internal operational applications, etc.) or client-facing applications and products.

• Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills.

• Thorough knowledge of relevant data and current systems.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting PeopleSoft 9.2 SCM.

• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.

• Experience facilitating requirements workshops and solution elaboration sessions.

• Experience creating functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.

• Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• English proficiency at B2–C1 level.

Required PeopleSoft 9.2 SCM Module Experience

• Candidates must have hands-on experience supporting all of the following PeopleSoft 9.2 modules:

o Inventory Management

o Order Management

o Warehouse Operations

o Manufacturing

Required Technical Knowledge

• Experience supporting integrations between PeopleSoft and external applications.

• Understanding of APIs, web services, middleware platforms, and data interfaces.

• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

• Experience in supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, and inventory management processes.
