- Advanced Reporting & Saved Searches: Maintain an intermediate-to-advanced understanding of reporting tools to create, modify, and audit NetSuite saved searches and reports. Key areas of focus include:
- Building Custom Saved Searches: Construct custom saved searches and reports to deliver key operational visibility across departments.
- Basic Formulas & SQL Expressions: Utilize basic SQL-based expressions (such as CASE WHEN statements, date text formatting, and numeric logic) in saved search criteria and results.
- Dashboard Management: Link saved searches to home dashboards to populate KPI portlets, reminder lists, custom search portlets, and trend graphs for team visibility.
- Maintenance & Auditing: Periodically review, clean up, optimize, and modify existing or outdated saved searches to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Email Alerts & Notifications: Configure saved searches to automatically trigger email notifications, scheduled reports, and alerts based on specific field updates or criteria.
- User Management & Access Control: Maintain primary responsibility for managing user roles, permissions, provisioning new user accounts, and conducting access audits to ensure compliance and security.
- Business Process & Oversight Documentation: Maintain system documentation, controls and oversight, while ensuring a clear understanding of key business processes to support cross-functional business requirements.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of basic workflows like Order-to-Cash (sales) or Procure-to-Pay (purchasing).
- Solid background and proven experience working in a high-tech manufacturing company, with a strong understanding of end-to-end business operations.
- Core experience in NetSuite system administration, functional configuration, and reporting, with a focus on administrative tasks.
- High level of comfort and willingness to integrate AI tools into daily work habits to drive productivity and innovation.
- NetSuite Suite Foundation Certification is preferred.
- Basic understanding of relational database logic, query logic, and data structures (e.g., parent-child relationships such as customer records linked to multiple transaction records).
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
- Strong end-user support orientation with proven ability to quickly triage, prioritize, and troubleshoot functional system issues across teams.
Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 CAD + Eligibility for Profit Sharing Program Participation (pending successful completion of probationary period and based on business performance)
