Skicka ansökan Business Architect – Consultancy Assignment within the Manufacturing Industry We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced Business Architect in Södertälje, where you will become an important part of the Shopfloor IT (VEIS) function with a focus on driving the transformation of a global production system. In this role you will take a global and strategic perspective, ensuring that business needs are translated into sustainable processes, information flows, and IT solutions, while creating alignment and driving change from early analysis through to implementation. Your responsibilities: Ownership and further development of the Business Architecture within Shopfloor IT / Production Execution Translation of business needs into sustainable processes, information flows, and IT solutions Identification and development of improvement opportunities across business processes, information flows, and IT support Alignment between business objectives, IT initiatives, and the target architecture Connection of current-state needs, future target states, and upcoming strategic initiatives Collaboration with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Process Owners Contribution to and direction of the initiative portfolio within the assigned area Analyses, discovery activities, gap analyses, and pre-studies Development of visualizations and decision-support material Facilitation of discussions and decision-making across business and IT stakeholders You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your area forward while collaborating with multiple interfaces across the organization. Requirements: Strong business experience and solid understanding of operational environments and business processes Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written Good understanding of IT terminology, IT environments, and business systems Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex and abstract information, and to visualize and communicate processes and dependencies clearly Experience working at the intersection of business and IT, including analyses, discovery work, gap analyses, and/or pre-studies Strong stakeholder management skills and experience facilitating discussions and workshops across functions and organizational levels Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work both strategically and close to the operational business Meriting: previous experience within Business Architecture, business process and/or information modelling, and experience from Shopfloor IT, Production Execution, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments Assignment details Start: 2026-09-21 End: 2027-09-20 Workload: 100% Remote: 100% ONSITE (primarily on-site, with some flexibility) We offer: At WeQuel, you become part of a consultant team that values people first – we believe success is created through engagement, collaboration, and development.
