In every studio, our dynamic Business Support teams build, maintain and improve the foundations that allow us to keep collaborating with our clients, partners – and each other. With talented team members integrated across the business, the team keeps Hassell running smoothly through administration, document control, graphics production, facilities and operations, business development, and process management. About the role We’re looking for an experienced Business Coordinator with at least 5 years’ experience to support the smooth running of our Brisbane studio. As a key point of contact for staff, clients and visitors, you’ll help create a welcoming, organised and connected studio environment. This is a varied and collaborative role, supporting Principals and leadership, coordinating meetings and events, assisting with projects and business development, and providing broader studio support. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and approachable, with a positive attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and operational support to Principals and the wider leadership team. Coordinate meetings, travel, events and day-to-day studio administration. Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, documents and other business materials. Support project teams with administration and document preparation at key milestones. Assist with marketing, business development and bid materials, including staff CVs, project profiles and submissions. Support the Professional Practice team with monthly reporting, including coordinating information and following up with team leaders. Contribute to broader Business Support initiatives across the studio. We’re looking for someone who is experienced and thrives in a creative environment and who has a ‘can-do’ attitude to tasks and responsibilities. The following skills and experience would be required: Prior administrative experience Exceptional organisational and time management skills Strong word processing competency and sound ability in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint,) and an aptitude for learning new technology Competency with Adobe Suite package (particularly InDesign) Proven graphic/layout skills Attention to detail Strong skills in document production: letters, reports, charts, spreadsheets etc Previous executive/personal assistant experience (advantageous) Previous experience producing submissions / bids for tender (advantageous) Knowledge of design and creative industries with design qualifications or employment history (advantageous) Our team enjoys a wide range of benefits to support their development and well-being: 16 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers.
