The Business Development Associate is an entry-level role supporting the firm’s business development activities. It would suit a recent graduate who is curious about business, enjoys working with people and data, and is keen to learn.

Working with colleagues across the firm, the successful candidate will help keep client and prospect information up to date, support Salesforce and other business development tools, assist with research and reporting, and help coordinate business development activities.

No previous business development or CRM experience is required. We are looking for someone who is organised, comfortable with numbers and data, willing to ask questions, and happy to follow up with colleagues to get things done. Training and support will be provided as the individual develops in the role.

What you will do;

• Help maintain client and prospect information in Salesforce and other systems.
• Check and update data to help keep records accurate and useful.
• Assist with simple reports and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Research companies, markets, and prospective clients using available information sources.
• Help prepare presentations and other business development materials.
• Support business development campaigns, events, and other activities.
• Coordinate actions and follow up with colleagues across the firm.
• Learn how different teams work and how the firm develops and supports client relationships.
  

What we are looking for;

• Proven experience with Salesforce or another CRM system will be an advantage but is not required.
  
• Comfortable working with data and numbers, with an analytical mindset.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communicator who is comfortable working with colleagues at different levels.
  
• Proactive and dependable, with a willingness to follow things through.
• Strong English proficiency is preferred.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
