Business Development Intern

Company Description Lestari Alam Sekitar Sdn. Bhd. (LAS) is a Malaysian AI-driven deep-tech company transforming industrial environmental management through advanced software innovation. Its flagship solution, EcoLAS, uses Artificial Intelligence and data analytics to help industries reduce emissions, optimize operations, and meet stringent regulatory requirements.

Role Description The Business Development Intern will support LAS in identifying and developing new business opportunities for EcoLAS and related solutions in target industries. Day-to-day tasks include mapping potential client segments, and assisting with lead generation activities such as outreach campaigns and prospect lists. The intern will help prepare pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials, and may participate in virtual meetings to support relationship-building with prospective partners and clients.

• Lead generation skills, with the ability to research, qualify, and prioritize potential clients or partners.
• Customer service skills, with a professional, responsive approach to supporting prospects and stakeholders.
• Interest in AI, sustainability, environmental regulations, or industrial digital transformation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
