The client
Buddy is proud to be exclusively partnering with Blue Bike Solutions, a purpose-led IT and digital transformation consultancy helping government, not-for-profit, aged care and healthcare organisations use technology to better serve their communities.
Founded in 2016, Blue Bike works with organisations doing great work in our communities, including BaptistCare, Silverchain, Australian Unity, Department of Families, Fairness & Housing (DFFH) and Common Equity Housing Ltd (CEHL). Its services span digital strategy, architecture, cyber, cloud, AI and automation, delivered across two streams. Advisory builds the right strategy and roadmap, and Capability as a Service embeds with clients to execute it. Blue Bike has also built its own SaaS products, one of which is the Support at Home Budget Builder, which is performing strongly in market.
The role
Blue Bike is expanding its influence and we're looking for a Business Development Lead to help drive it. Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead the sales cycle across consulting projects and SaaS solutions, from first conversation and tender response through to signed deal and beyond.
You won't be doing it alone. At Blue Bike, selling is a team effort. You'll work hand in hand with experienced consultants who know the sector and its technology inside out, from aged care funding models and compliance requirements to enterprise architecture, cyber and cloud. They'll join client conversations, shape solutions with you and bring technical depth to every proposal. You bring the relationships, commercial leadership and momentum. Together, you win work that clients trust.
This role suits a values-led, relationship-first seller who enjoys both hunting and farming, is motivated by client outcomes, and thrives working alongside subject-matter experts. The role is 100% remote.
What you'll do
Lead the sales pipeline, generating new opportunities and converting them into consulting and SaaS revenue in partnership with Blue Bike's consultants.
Grow and retain client relationships, working with delivery teams to spot new ways to add value.
Lead C-suite and steering committee conversations with government, NFP, aged care and healthcare clients, bringing consultants in to provide sector and technical insight.
Coordinate tenders, RFQs and proposals, drawing on consultant expertise to build responses that are commercially sharp and technically sound.
Create sales and marketing content that lands, informed by the team's knowledge of what clients really need.
Drive forecasting, CRM discipline and deal reviews covering budgets, profitability and risk.
Bring Advisory, Capability as a Service and SaaS together into one compelling go-to-market story.
What you'll bring
A proven track record selling consulting services and/or SaaS solutions, including opening new accounts and growing existing ones.
Ideally, experience selling into aged care, community, housing or NFP organisations, with a network to match.
Credibility with C-suite stakeholders and the ability to build trust quickly.
A collaborative approach. You enjoy working alongside technical experts and know how to bring the right people into the right conversations.
Initiative and ownership, with the confidence to drive opportunities forward in a close-knit team.
Genuine curiosity about your clients' businesses and where technology can help them.
Strong CRM skills and hands-on experience leading tenders, RFQs and proposals.
What's on offer
Purpose-led work that makes a real difference for the organisations Blue Bike serves.
A supportive, expert team. Blue Bike's consultants are partners in every pursuit, so you'll always have deep sector and technical knowledge behind you.
Competitive base plus super and commission, tied to performance.
Real autonomy to shape the role, the sales approach and Blue Bike's go-to-market strategy.
If you're a relationship-first seller who wants to build something with purpose, alongside a team that has your back, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now! Applications close 5pm AEDT, Wednesday 14 October.
