Ellos HR Solutions, a Canadian staffing and recruitment agency specializing in manufacturing, is growing our team and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager based anywhere in South Africa.
This is a true new-business development role.
We're looking for someone who knows how to start with a blank page, identify the right companies and decision-makers, build a sales pipeline, create conversations and turn those conversations into long-term staffing clients.
You'll be selling directly into the Canadian and US markets, with the technology, data and sales tools needed to do the job properly.
Who We're Looking For
✅ Minimum 4 years of Business Development / B2B Sales experience within the staffing or recruitment industry
✅ Previous sales experience with a staffing/recruitment agency is mandatory
✅ Proven experience selling staffing or recruitment services into the Canadian and/or US market
✅ Strong track record of new client acquisition, not simply account management
✅ Comfortable prospecting from scratch and building your own pipeline
✅ Experience selling to HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations and senior business leaders
✅ Strong understanding of cold outreach, follow-up sequences, sales funnels and pipeline management
✅ Excellent spoken and written English
✅ Experience within manufacturing staffing/recruitment is a strong asset, but not mandatory
What You'll Be Doing
🔹 Build targeted prospect lists across Canada and the United States
🔹 Identify companies with hiring needs and map the relevant decision-makers
🔹 Develop outbound campaigns using email, LinkedIn, phone and multi-touch sales sequences
🔹 Use AI and modern sales technology to research accounts, personalize outreach and increase prospecting efficiency
🔹 Build sales funnels from the ground up and continuously develop a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
🔹 Generate meetings with HR Managers, Talent Acquisition Leaders, Plant Managers, Operations Leaders and other decision-makers
🔹 Conduct discovery conversations, understand hiring challenges and position Ellos HR as a specialized recruitment partner
🔹 Follow opportunities consistently from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation and client acquisition
🔹 Maintain relationships with prospects who may not be ready to buy today but could become clients tomorrow
