Business Development Manager – West Midlands, Remote, Pensions

We're recruiting for a Business Development Manager to cover the West Midlands on a remote basis. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with IFA and wealth management firms, supporting business growth and contributing to the wider adviser platform strategy.

If you have experience in the advised platform market, strong relationship management skills and a good understanding of pensions and retirement solutions, this could be a great opportunity to progress your career.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in the advised platform market.
• Understanding of the intermediary/IFA distribution market.
• Knowledge of smooth fund solutions.
• Account management or business development experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate, influence and achieve sales targets.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of IFA and wealth management accounts.
• Build new business relationships and increase distribution.
• Visit clients according to an agreed strategy.
• Meet sales targets for business volume and product mix.
• Work with sales teams to achieve company goals.
• Contribute to business planning and growth strategies.
• Provide market intelligence and business reports.
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory and compliance standards.
• Maintain expert knowledge of retirement income products and competitors.
