Growth Strategy and Market Intelligence
- Partner with internal teams to develop and execute B2B business development strategies, growth initiatives, and market-penetration plans aligned with SRS's strategic objectives.
- Use third-party data sources, market intelligence platforms, industry databases, prospecting tools, and sales technologies to identify prospective clients, referral sources, brokers, consultants, and strategic partners.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, target sectors, and areas for business expansion.
- Evaluate, recommend, and optimize the business development technology stack, including CRM, prospecting, market intelligence, data enrichment, and sales-enablement platforms.
Marketing, Proposals, and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaign messaging, thought leadership, event impact, and lead-generation efforts with business development priorities and measurable revenue objectives.
- Manage and oversee the RFP and proposal process through a direct report, supporting timely execution, consistent quality, effective pursuit strategies, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze proposal activity, RFP conversion metrics, and pursuit performance to strengthen positioning and response effectiveness.
- Foster collaboration across SRS regions, practice areas, and business development teams to improve opportunity visibility, knowledge sharing, and pursuit coordination.
Qualifications

- Eight or more years of experience in business development, sales operations, revenue operations, or a comparable B2B sales role.
- Demonstrated experience administering and using HubSpot to manage pipelines, opportunities, reporting, workflows, and sales activity.
- Proven ability to develop and execute B2B sales strategies and tactics supporting lead generation, opportunity development, and new-business conversion.
- Strong understanding of pipeline management, sales forecasting, CRM governance, and new-business performance reporting.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to translate data into clear findings, priorities, and recommended actions for business development and senior leadership teams.
- Strong project management, organization, follow-through, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, business development professionals, marketing teams, and client-facing subject-matter experts across a global organization.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and exercise appropriate discretion.
