Our client, Fortdress has customers in Poland. It doesn't have anyone in Poland. That's the opportunity: you'd be the first person on the ground, building the market from nothing - no inherited pipeline, no playbook to follow, no office to report into. If you want to own a territory and build something that's genuinely yours, this is that role. We're bringing in our first Business Development Manager for Poland, a genuinely founding hire. You'll report to Danny Lenselink, our Commercial Director, and work closely with our Sales function. Fortdress protects people who work in the cold, making freezer and cold-store workwear used across food, logistics and manufacturing. We already have a handful of accounts in Poland, but no dedicated focus on the market, and we know there's real opportunity here. Your job is to change that: build the distributor network, grow the accounts we already have, and put Fortdress on the map in a market we've barely started to tap. This is a role for someone who thinks beyond the next call. We want a point of view on which segments and regions to prioritise, not just a plan to “meet everyone and learn the products.” You'll have real autonomy to shape how we go to market in Poland, and real support to do it well. Key Responsibilities Building and managing relationships with our existing key accounts in Poland, while identifying and winning new distributor partners Preparing, adjusting and following up on quotations, and negotiating pricing as part of your regular workflow Regular contact with customers and distributors, by phone and through on-site visits across the region Representing Fortdress at trade shows and industry events to build our profile in the market Administrative tasks including handling tenders Working closely with our Sales Leader and Commercial Director to shape the wider go-to-market strategy for Poland Note: Poland is a distributor-led market for Fortdress - this role is about building and managing a distributor network, not selling direct to end customers. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential Fluent Polish, with good written and spoken English (Dutch or German is a plus, but not required) Experience in a similar Business Development or Key Account Management role, ideally selling through distributors or channel partners, not only direct accounts A genuine self-starter mentality - you'll be building this market without a local office or team around you day-to-day Strong communication and negotiation skills, and comfort with regular travel and on-site visits A hands-on approach, as comfortable in a customer meeting as in a strategy conversation Nice to have Experience in workwear, PPE, or a related industrial/B2B sector Existing relationships with distributors in the Polish PPE or workwear space Familiarity with MS Office and quotation or tender processes What makes the role different A genuinely founding role - build the Polish market your way, with real ownership from day one Flexible working hours and a culture that values ideas from every level of the business A close-knit, fast-growing team backed by RefrigiWear Group's scale and stability
