Job Purpose

To support the growth of Oxford International's assessment portfolio in Vietnam through business development, customer engagement, and partner enablement activities.
The role is responsible for driving business growth for ELLT Spotlight by identifying, developing, and converting opportunities across education, training, employability, and workforce-development sectors. In parallel, the role supports the success of our local distribution partner for ELLT Global and ELLT Digital through sales support, customer-facing activities, training, market insight, and the development of effective sales enablement resources.

Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, the role contributes to revenue growth, market awareness, and customer adoption across education, training, workforce development, and employer sectors in Vietnam and selected regional markets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development and Revenue Growth
  • Identify, develop, and progress new commercial opportunities for ELLT Spotlight across education, training, employability, workforce development, and corporate learning sectors.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and partners, ensuring opportunities are accurately recorded and actively managed.
  • Conduct customer discovery meetings and product presentations with prospective clients.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, commercial documentation, and follow-up activities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to the achievement of agreed sales, pipeline, and business-development objectives.

Partner Enablement and Sales Support
  • Support the success of Oxford International's local distribution partner for ELLT Global and ELLT Digital through sales enablement, training, and ongoing market support.
  • Develop, localise, and maintain presentations, sales tools, product collateral, and materials to support materials to support our test centres, trainers, and test takers
  • Assist with partner onboarding, product training, and capability-development initiatives.
  • Support joint customer meetings, events, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Act as a liaison between the distribution partner and internal teams to facilitate information sharing and effective collaboration.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
  • Build positive relationships with customers, prospects, employers, training providers, educational institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent Oxford International professionally at meetings, conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and support the delivery of a positive customer experience throughout the sales journey.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product development and continuous improvement.
Market Development and Intelligence
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements across Vietnam and selected regional markets.
  • Identify emerging opportunities for ELLT Spotlight and other assessment solutions.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and recommendations to support commercial planning and business growth.
  • Support lead-generation and awareness-building activities in collaboration with marketing and product teams.

Planning, Reporting and Administration
  • Maintain accurate records of business-development activities, customer interactions, and sales opportunities using approved systems and processes.
  • Prepare regular activity, pipeline, and market reports for management.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and business-planning activities as required.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and local regulatory requirements.

General
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Undertake additional duties reasonably required to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Travel within Vietnam and occasionally internationally as required by the role.

Person Specifications

Legal status
  • Right to work in Vietnam.
  • Ability to undertake business travel within Vietnam.
  • Ability to undertake occasional international travel. (Desirable)

Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, education, human resources, international business, or a related field.
  • Professional sales training, business development qualification, or post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline. (Desirable)

Experience and knowledge
  • Experience in business development, sales, account management, partnerships, or market development.
  • Demonstrated success in generating and progressing commercial opportunities.
  • Experience building relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting products or services to prospective customers.
  • Understanding of consultative sales approaches and pipeline management.
  • Fluent Vietnamese and professional-level English.
  • Experience in education, EdTech, workforce development, employability, HR technology, assessment, certification, learning or training sectors. (Desirable)
  • Experience supporting channel partners, distributors, resellers, or agents. (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with Vietnamese higher education, vocational education, corporate learning, or workforce-development markets. (Desirable)
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools. (Desirable)

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in Vietnamese and English.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into commercial discussions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience delivering product demonstrations, workshops, webinars, or customer training sessions. (Desirable)
  • Experience developing sales enablement materials, presentations, or customer-facing resources. (Desirable)
  • Data analysis and market-research skills. (Desirable)
