We're looking for a Business Development Representative to help a fast-growing US construction franchise find its next projects. You'll hunt down construction projects that need temporary walls, connect with the general contractors bidding them, and book meetings that turn into real business, working directly with the franchise owner every day.

Expect to be on the screen a lot, and on the phone plenty: 30-40 outbound calls a day, with the rest of your time spent hunting and reviewing projects worth chasing, and keeping the pipeline clean. The goal is meetings on your owner's calendar and qualified projects in their pipeline. Written outreach matters just as much, and if you love research and real conversations, then you'll fit right in.

Above all, be proactive. The best BDRs here don't wait for direction: they learn how their owner's franchise makes money, understand which projects, industries, and relationships actually grow it, and bring ideas to the table. You're not just making calls; you're helping develop a business.

What You'll Do

• Hunt for projects daily on platforms like ConstructConnect and PlanHub, public planrooms and other sources, and judge which ones actually need temporary containment (scope, location, bid dates).
• Call contractors and decision-makers to qualify interest and book meetings for the franchise owner: presentations, Lunch and Learns, sample drop-offs, networking events.
• Write emails tailored for each outreach: project-specific intros, post-call follow-ups, proposal support, and re-engaging past contacts.
• Track every lead, call, and deal stage in HubSpot, keeping the pipeline accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate the franchise owner's calendar: meetings, job walks, and proposal deadlines.
• Run regular check-ins with the owner, come prepared with agendas, and ask direct questions about what they want/need. Clarity beats guessing, every time.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of outbound sales or cold calling experience.
• 1+ year experience working in a remote or work-from-home setup
• Comfortable working directly with a US-based client, asking questions, and taking feedback.
• Strong English, writing, and organizational skills; comfortable juggling research, calls, and CRM work in one day.
• Experience with CRMs (HubSpot a plus).
• Experience in commercial construction or a construction-adjacent business is a major plus.
• Experience as a Team Lead or Subject Matter Expert is also a plus.
• Must be available to work graveyard shifts aligned with US time zones.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated work-from-home setup required.
