Role Description The Business Development Specialist - KSA or UAE role is a remote position responsible for driving growth and expanding Whiplash’s client base in the Gulf region. Daily tasks include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting lead generation activities, and managing outreach to prospective clients in target markets. The specialist will perform market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs, and will use these insights to propose tailored solutions and collaboration opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and contributing to the development of regional business strategies. The specialist will also prepare presentations, proposals, and regular reports on pipeline, performance, and market developments.
Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to assess opportunities, trends, and client needs.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships and manage client interactions professionally.
• Proven experience in Lead Generation and business development, ideally within media, production, or creative industries.
• Ability to work remotely with high levels of self-motivation, organization, and time management.
• Knowledge of KSA or UAE markets and cultural context; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding growth or sales targets.
