This role supports the Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM) franchise and offers the opportunity to work closely with investment bankers, risk managers, treasury, operations, valuation, and finance teams. As a member of the LDCM Business Finance team, you will help drive financial transparency, support business decision-making, and contribute to the management of capital, funding, and regulatory requirements. The role offers broad exposure to leveraged finance transactions, debt capital markets activities, and the financial drivers that influence business performance across a leading global investment bank. Skills You’ll Need Relevant experience in Business Finance, Product Control, FP&A, Accounting, Investment Banking Finance, Capital Markets Finance, or a related discipline Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, financial reporting, and the key drivers of business performance Knowledge of investment banking products, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or broader capital markets activities Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear and actionable insights Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience leveraging automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and decision-making Proven ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, enhance analysis, and solve business problems while applying sound judgment and appropriate governance: standard language all DB adverts include Skills That Will Help You Excel Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience partnering with senior stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Knowledge of relevant control framework requirements Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
