As a Business Manager, you'll play a key role in building and strengthening client relationships while helping organisations optimise their workforce operations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and strategic priorities, providing proactive support and solutions that drive long-term success. You'll collaborate across multiple teams to deliver an exceptional client experience, support operational improvements, and ensure compliance with relevant workforce regulations across the US and Canada. What you’ll be doing Client Relationship Management Develop strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives and challenges. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and support business growth. Conduct regular account health checks and growth reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key client accounts. Use analytical and creative problem-solving skills to address complex client challenges with scalable, practical solutions. Deliver client training and education on workforce management practices and US and Canadian workforce compliance requirements. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Meet and exceed individual, quarterly, and annual performance targets linked to portfolio growth and client retention. Operational Excellence Provide strategic advice and solutions to support clients with their operational and workforce management challenges. Train new client users and stakeholders on workforce management platforms and processes. Review client operational workflows and make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Lead and support process improvement initiatives, working cross-functionally to streamline internal and external processes. Compliance & Risk Management Manage and resolve emerging client compliance issues, taking ownership from identification through to resolution. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders to address concerns and mitigate business risks. Support compliance-related initiatives and drive consistent resolution of client issues across the Client Engagement team. Stay up to date with relevant workforce compliance requirements and industry best practices. We'd love to Hear From Someone That Has experience managing client relationships, account portfolios, or customer success programmes. Builds credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels. Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex challenges into practical solutions. Is confident leading client meetings, reviews, and training sessions. Can balance multiple priorities and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Communicates effectively and works collaboratively across teams. Has experience supporting workforce management, operational processes, or compliance-related activities. Is commercially minded, with a focus on driving client growth, retention, and customer satisfaction. Experience working with US and Canadian workforce compliance requirements would be advantageous.
