The Business Operations Manager supports the Global Safety & Security leadership team, reporting to the Global Lead, Governance, Risk & Compliance.
This role will act as the administrative backbone of the Global Safety & Security team, enabling security leadership to focus on strategy and program maturity, while ensuring the function operates efficiently and remains audit-ready.
The successful candidate will drive administration, accountability, and visibility across GSS, ensuring key initiatives, compliance activities, vendor relationships, and leadership priorities are executed effectively and on schedule.
This position is ideal for an experienced Business Operations professional, Executive Assistant, Administrator, or Chief of Staff support professional seeking to transition into a broader business management role. Deep security expertise is not required, rather strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business discipline, stakeholder management, and a ‘continuous improvement’ mindset are essential.
How you'll make an impact
- Manage annual policy review and governance calendars
- Maintain risk, compliance, and operational tracking records ready for audit
- Support vendor onboarding, renewals, and contract tracking
- Develop and maintain KPI and performance reporting
- Coordinate meetings, action tracking, and leadership priorities
- Support budgeting, procurement, and operational administration
About you
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and training in related fields required + minimum of 5 years' experience in the field Corporate Safety and Security.
- Ability to be on call 24/7 basis as part of a response team for any related emergencies.
- Knowledge of life safety systems, electronic security, video and digital recording systems.
Highly Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Communications, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior leaders in business operations, program management, executive administration, governance, project coordination, or similar functions.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating projects and business processes across multiple functions.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar business domains.
- Highly organized and process-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong business acumen and professional judgment.
- Effective project and program coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
