We are seeking a resourceful, hands-on Business Operations Manager to work directly with senior leadership as we build an early-stage SaaS company delivering an Agentic AI platform for the Fraud & Financial Crime market.
You will help turn ideas into action, solve operational problems and keep the company’s most important priorities moving. Your work will span commercial initiatives, business analysis, customer coordination and day-to-day operations. One week, you may be researching a market opportunity or supporting an enterprise proposal; the next, you may be implementing a tool, improving a workflow or coordinating a customer launch.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building from scratch, takes initiative and is comfortable moving between analysis and detailed execution. The scope will evolve as the company grows, offering increasing ownership and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate the leadership team’s priorities into practical actions, timelines and deliverables.
• Take ownership of projects from initial idea through completion.
• Prepare research, analysis, presentations and briefing materials to support business decisions.
• Track commitments, follow up with stakeholders and resolve issues that could delay progress.
Execute Across the Business
• Address day-to-day operational challenges and build practical solutions.
• Create and improve workflows, documentation and tools as business needs emerge.
• Coordinate external providers and shared support functions, including Finance, HR and Legal.
Support Commercial Growth
• Support enterprise sales opportunities through proposal coordination, presentation development and internal follow-up.
• Maintain accurate CRM information and provide visibility into pipeline, next steps and outstanding actions.
• Coordinate customer procurement requests, due diligence and contract processes with the appropriate specialists.
Connect Sales, Product and Delivery
• Coordinate activities across Sales, Product, Technology and Customer Delivery.
• Track customer commitments, project milestones and dependencies.
• Ensure decisions and next steps are clearly communicated and followed through.
Build Visibility and Structure
• Develop straightforward dashboards and trackers for business priorities, commercial activity, customer progress and spending.
• Analyze data to identify issues, opportunities and actions.
• Establish useful meeting agendas, action logs and regular progress updates.
• Introduce the level of structure needed to keep the business coordinated as it grows.
Experience and Qualifications
• Proven record of relevant experience in business operations, startup operations, consulting, commercial operations or a comparable role.
• Experience in an early-stage or fast-growing technology business, ideally B2B SaaS.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with spreadsheets, business data and presentations.
• Excellent organization, communication and follow-through.
• Comfort using CRM systems, project management platforms and collaboration tools.
• Experience in AI, fraud prevention and financial crime; relevant industry experience is an advantage.
What We Are Looking For
• A self-starter: You recognize what needs to happen and take action.
• A resourceful problem solver: You find workable solutions when processes or resources are limited.
• A hands-on executor: You handle the details and see work through to completion.
• An adaptable generalist: You move comfortably between different business needs and changing priorities.
• A trusted partner: You exercise sound judgment, handle sensitive information carefully and communicate candidly.
• A builder: You enjoy creating the foundations of a business and improving them as the company grows.
Our employees are our top priority; we offer comprehensive health and wellness plans. You will enjoy paid time off and company holidays, flexible and remote-friendly opportunities, and maternity/paternity leave.
At Provenir, we recognize that diversity and inclusion make our teams stronger. We are committed to equal employment opportunity and welcome everyone regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, domestic partner status, citizenship, or veteran status or medical condition.
