Guernsey is an employee-owned engineering, architecture, and consulting firm. Our consulting teams help clients make informed decisions through planning, forecasting, pricing, risk management, and regulatory support. Our Analytical Services Group (“ASG”) provides several lines of services to clients, including cybersecurity consulting, power engineering, and utility financial consulting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement operating processes with input from Team Leaders and staff; establish clear responsibilities, support adoption, and maintain shared standards as teams take ownership of day-to-day execution.
  • Own the development, preparation and maintenance of recurring financial and operating reports and monthly dashboards, bringing together reliable information on revenue, backlog, utilization, project profitability, staffing, and workload.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), facilitate performance reviews, and identify trends to help Team Leaders improve project delivery, resource planning, and client satisfaction.
  • Strengthen processes throughout the client relationship, including client relationship management (CRM), proposals, project delivery, billing, and client feedback.
  • Partner with Guernsey Culture and Community group (C&C), Group Leader, and Team Leaders to improve staff onboarding and training.
  • Support company, group, and team-specific goals & activities. Support staff development, engagement, and retention.
  • Coordinate the selection and adoption of technology, tools, and AI solutions; implement and administer approved solutions, coordinate staff training, and work with corporate functions to support adoption.
  • Build and maintain shared knowledge resources that make client information, project experience, and internally proven methods easier to find and reuse.
  • Translate ASG and company priorities into actionable plans, coordinate cross-team efforts, monitor progress and accountability, and drive initiatives through implementation and measurable results.
  • Compile and maintain monthly business reports and dashboards for the Group and Team Leaders, bringing together key financial, project, staffing, workload, and performance metrics to provide visibility into trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
  • Partner closely with the Group Leader on special projects and company initiatives, helping define priorities, coordinate activities, analyze information, track progress, and drive implementation through completion.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in business operations, project management, or process improvement; professional services experience is preferred
  • Highly self-directed and proactive, with the ability to work independently, identify what needs to be done, take ownership of priorities, and move forward with minimal direction
  • Demonstrated ability to develop practical processes, implement improvements, and help teams adopt new ways of working
  • Strong analytical and business skills, with an understanding of project performance, resource planning, and profitability
  • Comfort working with business technology, reporting tools, and shared information systems, with an interest in AI and automation
  • Clear communication, sound judgment, and strong organization, with the ability to collaborate across teams, influence without direct supervisory authority, and follow through

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Work at a desk or computer and review digital and paper-based information for extended periods
  • Communicate regularly through phone, video, and in-person meetings
